Jhal Muri is a popular street food of West Bengal, Nepal, Orissa, and Bangladesh. It is basically spicy and tangyy puffed rice made with spices and raw mustard oil. Puffed Rice- 1 big bowl



Green Chilies-1-2

Peas (Optional)

Boiled Pottaoes-1

Mustard Oil-1/2tsp

Coriander leaves

Lemon Juice-1tsp

Salt – as per taste

Red Chili Powder-1tsp


  1. Chop onions, tomatoes, and green chilies. Chop boiled potatoes as well.
  2. Add salt, red chili powder, mustard oil, lemon juice to these chopped veggies.
  3. Add these mixture with raw peas to puffed rice and garnish with coriander leaves.
  4. Jhal Muri is ready to serve
