How To Make A Onion Pickle

Required Time: 5-7mins


Onions- 3-4

Fennel Seeds- 1 teaspoon

Onion seeds- 1 teaspoon

Salt- as per taste

Red Chili Powder- as per taste

Turmeric Powder- 1 teaspoon

Lemon Juice-1-2 tablespoon

Oil- 1 tablespoon


  1. Slice the onions.
  2. Add salt, red chili powder, and turmeric powder. Mix well with your hands so that the spices are evenly spread out in each and every slice of the onion.
  3. Heat oil in a pan. Add fennel seeds and onion seeds and as the seeds crackle, pour it over the sliced onions.
  4. Mix it well.
  5. Add lemon juice.
  6. The onion pickle is ready!
